Romeo and Juliet, National Ballet of Canada returns to London

After a 26 year absence, the National Ballet of Canada returned to London, England, Wednesday (April 17) with an acclaimed new production of Romeo and Juliet, created by Alexei Ratmansky.

Karen Kain, the ballet company’s artistic director, commissioned the full-length production of Romeo and Juliet in 2011 to mark the National Ballet’s 60th anniversary season.

Romeo and Juliet will be performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London from April 17 to 21.

The production will next tour go to The Music Centre in Los Angeles July 10 – 13, 2014.
