This week a conversation with a magnificent musician, Duane Andrews. Newfoundland is certainly a centre of music in Canada, but is much better known for “traditional” Celtic-based music. Duane fell in love the music invented by Django Reinhard in Paris in the 1930’s and 40s. In fact it was while Duane was in Paris that he fell in love with the style.
ListenAn accomplished composer, writing scores fro TV and film for example, he now has several albums to his credit
I hope you enjoy discovering the sounds of this great Canadian guitar virtuoso.
cheers
Marc
