Foreign service back to work

Canada’s foreign service workers have ended their rotating strikes after reaching a tentative agreement with the government. Operations in offices around the world will return to normal.

The deal was made two weeks after a labour relations board ruled the government had been bargaining in bad faith. Details are not available but the diplomats had demanded pay equity with other public servants doing equivalent work.
