“To succeed Ukrainians’ new leaders in parliament and in civil society must stay united,” said Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird in a press conference with journalists Friday (February 28) after meeting with Ukraine’s new leaders, including Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk as well as former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Minister Baird was in Kyiv with a small Canadian delegation and announced $200,000 in medical aid for Ukraine.
