Singer songwriter Alysha Brilla is super excited and enthusiastic when she talks about her just released new album “Womyn”. The Canadian Juno Music Award nominee’s second full-length album featuers strong orchestrations, a smokier voice, and 13 songs.
Her music influences include Etta James, Bob Marley and East African musc. And her album has a very accessible polished fusion pop sound.
In an interview with RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda, Alysha Brilla talked about being a tomboy when she was young, how she composes her songs, and the launch party in her hometown of Kitchener and the October 1st launch in Toronto.
