Stephanie Moseley killed by husband, rapper Earl Hayes, in Los Angeles

Stephanie Moseley grew up in the Vancouver area of British Columbia.  The dancer and aspiring actor left for Los Angeles 10 years ago, but her former dance instructors are devastated by the news of her violent death.

Moseley, 30, was shot by her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, 34, yesterday, in an apparent jealous rage that led to the murder-suicide.

The couple moved in the music and TV circles of Hollywood. Stephanie Moseley had danced with Rihanna, Britney Spears and Chris Brown.  She was featured on VH-1’s ‘Hit the Floor’ show, and in 2006 was chosen by actor Jamie Foxx to play his wife on his TV special.

Earl Hayes was signed to boxer Floyd Mayweather’s record label, ‘The Money Team’.  Floyd Mayweather witnessed the tragedy on video chat as he tried to dissuade Hayes from killing Moseley because of her alleged infidelity.

Rachel Poirier taught Moseley at Danzmode Productions in Burnaby, British Columbia, from the age of 12 to 18.  “Steph was a true talent, very humble, gracious, and it’s just horrible,” Poirier said.
