Canada’s Women’s Hockey team is hard at work at the women’s world hockey championships in Malmo, Sweden.

They came back from a defeat against the defending champion, the American team, 4-2 on Saturday, to beat the Russians 4 -0 on Sunday.
Caroline Ouellette and Courtney Birchard each had a goal and an assist. Defender Laura Fortino and Canada.Captain Marie-Philip Poulin also scored for Canada.
Ann-Renee Desbiens earned the 19-save shutout in her first career start for the national team.
The Russian duo of Yulia Leskina and Maria Sorokina stopped a combined 38 shots in the loss.
Canada plays Finland Tuesday to wrap up pool play. The championship game is Saturday.
