Royal visit to include the young prince and princess

The Duke and Duchess of CambridgePrince William and Duchess Catherine, to the delight of royal watchers and baby-lovers, will bring the next generation with them on their upcoming visit to western Canada.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will come to Canada for the first time this autumn, when they join their parents on their royal tour it has been confirmed.

It was announed on July 27th, 2016 that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, affectionately known as “Kate”, had accepted the Canadian government’s invitation to visit this part of the Commonwealth.

The visit is expected to take the Royal Family to several places in British Columbia and Yukon.

Kensington Palace said the couple hold “very happy memories” of their last visit to Canada in June and July of 2011. Newlyweds at the time, they were in Ottawa, the National Capital Region, to celebrate Canada Day. Then they visited Montreal, and Quebec City, in the province of Quebec. On to Charlottetown and Summerside in Prince Edward Island, and up to the northern communities of Yellowknife, and Slave Lake, and a stop in Calgary, Alberta as well.
