Final meeting between Sweden and Turkey before big NATO summit

  • Later this afternoon Sweden’s PM Kristersson will meet with Turkey’s President Erdogan to discuss Sweden’s NATO membership bid.
  • In Vilnius, ahead of the big NATO summit tomorrow, Swedish Radio news reporter Jan Andersson is following the latest developments.
  • He says that Turkey’s latest demand of EU membership negotiations came as a surprise.
