The World Bank lists Cambodia as the latest country where engineering firm SNC-Lavalin allegedly committed misconduct, reports Postmedia. The bank has forbidden the Canadian firm from bidding on any projects funded by it for at least 10 years. The firm has agreed to the terms which are secret.
The ban applies to SNC-Lavalin and its many affiliates.
SNC has allegedly engaged in bribery to secure overseas contracts, including one to build a bridge in Bangladesh and other projects in North Africa and other parts of the world.
