On this edition of Politics Today RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda focused on the ministerial resignations ahead of a Canadian cabinet shuffle. In particular, the stepping down of Senator Marjory LeBreton as the Leader of the Government in Canada’s upper chamber, the Senate.

Wojtek has an update on the police investigation into a cheque made out by the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff to a government senator to cover contested expense claims.

As well he updates the situation with the Canadian diplomats strike, a new Canadian passport, and the announcement by the federal police the RCMP that it broke up a terror plot in the Pacific coast province of British Columbia, and political reaction to it.
