It started when she said “nice bike” to a cyclist. The stories she heard after that convinced Christine Bruce this was something she wanted to pursue and share.
After interviewing more than 150 people, she’s now released a book called “This Road Continues One Block North” which focuses on the stories of people on bikes in Canada’s most populous city of Toronto. She now lives in Kingston and is continuing to interview people about their bicycle stories.
RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda talked to Christine Bruce about the book and about the joys and challenges of cycling in Canada.
