Canadian federal politics increasingly a preparation for 2015 election

Canada’s parliamentarians were back after a week away from Ottawa, and with little more than four weeks before the summer break, it’s clear, particularly in the House of Commons, that both government and opposition Members of Parliament are wooing voters for next year’s election.

Announcements from the government with encouraging consumer news, and continued attacks on government policies from the opposition parties add to the pre-election preparations.
