Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and two-spirited couples have come from all over the world to get married at a popular tourist attraction in Toronto. The mass wedding this afternoon will be one of many activities planned for World Pride Week, and is believed to be the largest of its kind in North America.

Canada is considered to be one of the most progressive countries in terms of LGBTQ rights, but there are nonetheless on-going struggles particularly in the area of transgender rights.
