Global Meditation for Peace is the name of the event that will bring 15,000 people together to meditate at the same time in Toronto, and online around the world tomorrow.
Deepak Chopra, the man behind the venture, describes it as the “largest synchronized meditation” in history. And he intends to quantify it, by setting a Guiness World Record.
Chopra is in Toronto for a conference called Seduction of Spirit. The group meditation is the culminating event, Friday August 8th, beginning at noon. Along with the record, the goal stated on the website is to “increase global consciousness and connection”.
