Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in New York this week to address the UN General Assembly on Thursday evening (September 25), something he hasn’t done in a number of years. On Wednesday, he was before a business audience interviewed by the Wall Street Journal’s Editor in Chief Gerard Baker.
He addressed a number of non-economic issues, but his focus was on Canada’s economic performance.
He also addressed the proposed and controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline project which would bring oil from the western Canadian province of Alberta to the American state of Texas.
RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda has a report.
