Elvis will be celebrated in all his incarnations at Collingwood, Ontario’s annual festival. Last year, on the 20th anniversary, Priscilla, his former wife, made an appearance, and while she, and the rest of the family are invited this year, organizers have not received a confirmation.
What began in 1994, by a local Elvis tribute artist, attracted 34 of his colleagues. Now it has grown into “the Largest Elvis Festival in the world” and is the one that others look up to!
Attracting as many as 130 Elvis tribute artists, the event is also one of the “Top 50 Festivals in Ontario” now. Collingwood, is located on beautiful Georgian Bay, which is a great draw to those on vacation and tourists at this time of year. All the Elvis’s will be out and about tomorrow until Sunday.
