The Rio Olympic Games are in full swing and Canadians will be looking to build on some early success.
Here’s a look at five events involving Team Canada that will be well worth your time.
Men’s beach volleyball: Canada vs. Brazil
Putting away their opponent will be the goal for the Alberta tandem of Chaim Schalk and Ben Saxton against hometown favourites Pedro Solberg and Evandro Goncalves Oliveira Jr. of Brazil. Schalk and Saxton dropped their opener in Rio when their Latvian opponents scored three unanswered points to cap a three-set thriller.
