The Link Online

This week on THE LINK On-Line we’ll hear why Canada’s medical community is still protesting the government cuts to refugee health care. From what they’re seeing on the frontlines, it has been a shortsighted move that will cause more problems and expense in the long-run.

Wojtek Gwiazda has a report on the last days of Canada’s House of Commons before it adjourned early for the summer break

Then Carmel Kilkenny speaks with one of the organizers of the Paddling for Our Waters event.  A group of native and non-native canoeists began in the Quebec town of Wakefield, to paddle the 30 kilometres to Ottawa.  They were joined by others on the way.   We’ll hear about this National Aboriginal Day event on Friday’s solstice, and what it means for Canada’s Algonquin people.
