Thousands of Canadians, and more than 35 environmental, Indigenous and community groups are holding a National Day of Action on November 16 with the title “Defend Our Climate, Defend Our Communities.
They’ve organized more than 125 events across Canada on Saturday, November 16. The Action Day comes as the United Nations Climate Change Conference continues in Poland, and major pipeline decisions are expected in Canada in the next few months.
RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda spoke to Maggie Knight, the National Spokesperson for the Day of Action. She is the Managing Director of the LeadNow.ca, a citizens’/community group.
