Canada’s Finance Minister Joe Oliver says he feels ready to table a federal budget, and on Thursday (April 2) he announced he’ll be tabling the budget in the House of Commons on April 21, the day after parliamentarians return after the Easter break.
Minister Oliver made his announcement at a factory of Canada Goose, an extreme weather outerwear manufacturer in Toronto.
In a question and answer period with journalists the Minister would not say whether there would be a budget surplus, only saying that the budget would be balanced.
