Royal watchers had it confirmed today. Britain’s Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their third child.
The due date has not been confirmed, but in the spring of 2018 there should be another brother or sister for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kensington Palace in London, where the Duke and Duchess now live, confirmed the recent speculation about Kate’s condition, today.
The Duke and Duchess moved to London, from their former home in Norfolk after William gave up his position as an air ambulance pilot, in July, to take up increased royal duties.
Prince George 4, is also beginning the year at private Thomas’s School in Battersea, south London, and Princess Charlotte 2, will begin nursery school.
With the arrival of the new baby, Prince Harry will then drop to sixth in line to the throne, and the baby will be the fifth.
It’s reported the Queen is “delighted” with the news.
