Canada’s Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver was upbeat on his second last day of an official mission to India to discuss energy resources, including oil and gas exports, and forestry products.
In a telephone conference call with journalists Wednesday (January 15) he underlined that Canada was doing everything it could to facilitate exports, calm concerns about whether energy exports would be delivered and not blocked by extended environmental reviews, and also discussed the possible impact of the election of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India.
RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda has a report.
