Rob Ford is back and ready to run

Rob Ford is back in Toronto City Hall today.  The notorious mayor of Canada’s largest city spent the last two months in a rehabilitation facility.

The retreat was an attempt to deal with “alcohol addiction”.  There was no mention of the crack cocaine he is alleged to have used.

His brother Doug Ford, a city councillor and Rob Ford’s campaign manager, told Torontonians it would be a new and improved mayor resuming his official duties today.

“He’s had a real eye-opener on life and self and things that may have triggered his addiction before,” Doug Ford told CBC News in a phone interview. “It’s going to be a new Rob Ford.”

There’s just less than four months until voters go to the polls to chose the next mayor of Toronto, October 27th.
