The small southern Ontario town of Elmira was heaven for hundreds and hundres of guitar lovers this weekend as they crowded in a large hall in town.
It was the sixth annual Ontario Vintage Guitar show, and there were guitars everywhere; new guitars, and old guitars and for every one there were new guitar players and old guitar players interested.

The event was started by John Woods six years ago as a location for guitar lovers and those with instruments and accessories to sell to come together. He says he developed the idea from seeing other kinds of trade shows and swap meets and realized there was nothing like if for guitar lovers.
In that short time it has become the largest guitar show in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province.

The show had individuals, dealers, and luthiers all selling their wares along with every imaginable type of accessory from amps, to pedals, strings, tuners, mixers etc. both new and used.
Prices for instruments ranged from around one hundred dollars to many thousands of dollars for some of the many rare vintage instruments.
