Music video marks hockey player’s fundraiser for kid’s hospital

Although the Montreal Canadiens hockey team traded P.K. Subban to the Nashville Predators, the popular defenceman has vowed to follow through on his promise to raise $10 million for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the campaign, Subban released a music video featuring patients, staff, rapper Kardinal Offishall and singer Yoanna Rae. The campaign has raised $1.4 so far. Funds have paid for things as varied as parking vouchers for families and respiratory equipment.

After being traded Subban allayed fears the campaign might change saying, “My jersey might change, but what I support will always stay the same,”
