International Space University program in Montreal for 45th anniversary of moon landing

The International Space University, runs a nine-week space studies program every summer. This year it is underway in Montreal.

Tomorrow we’ll tell you more about the program and the Canadian connection that was part of creating this global initiative.

But on this day, after the the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s brilliant step, Julie Payette, Canada’s only female astronaut, revealed at a recent ISU event, that when she was 9-years old, watching the historic moon-landing, she decided she wanted to not only walk on the moon, she wanted to drive the jeep!

Julie Payette was on the International All Female Astronaut Panel, presented by Montreal’s Space Studies program on July 10th, 2014.
