The World Clydesdale Show was held this month in London Ontario. Although there were a variety of class winners, Ovation, a two-year old filly was named as the supreme champion of the show.

Ovation had already been named champion mare at the show, and in the finale went up against a gelding and a stallion.
Robert Detweiller owns the farm in Iowa where Ovation was born after David Anderson bought the pregnant mare, and said he knew from the very beginning, she was a champion.

David Anderson runs the Canadian division, Anderson Farms, a horse breeding operation in St Thomas, Ontario where thoroughbreds and standardbreds are raised. The farm is also known for award winning Percherons, Anderson added Clydesdales a few years ago.
