On this edition of Politics Today RCI’s Wojtek Gwiazda focused on Canada’s upper chamber, the Senate, and how and why it decided to stop the immediate passage of a union financial disclosure bill.
He also talked about the G8 summit in Northern Ireland and its decisions on tax evasion and tax havens, as well as Canada’s minor change to requirements for Canadians with property or income outside of Canada.
He also updated the situation with the strike by Canadian diplomats, and the outpouring of support in the city of Calgary for Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
